Lea C. Deschenes is a graphic designer with over 50 books of poetry under her belt and the author of The Constant Velocity of Trains on Write Bloody Press. She has a long history in web design with an eye toward clean, functional sites, and so many print projects she can’t remember them all.

Lea currently serves as the Operations & Development Assistant for The Greater Worcester Land Trust where she maintains the web site, creates print & merchandise designs, handles donations, brainstorms marketing ideas, and maintains the custom database she built in Filemaker Pro. She is happy to be the generalist ‘indoor kid’ to Executive Director Colin Novick’s Lorax.

Lea also serves as an online inventory manager and Tina Zlody’s computer backup for the Worcester Public Market’s Market Pantry. She enjoys doing product research for vegan cheese and fancy chocolate.

In her remaining time, Lea is an avid reader, a middling gamer; an amateur sculptor and photographer; a sesquipedalian word-lover; an award-winning poet; a decent cook; and a lover of finding solutions to various puzzles.
